The perfect scrambled egg

Scrambled eggs are so-called because they are scrambled. But that doesn’t mean you can just throw them in the pan.
There are a few tricks you should keep in mind with the popular egg dish:

  • Mix the eggs with a dash of milk (and/or mineral water), as milk makes the egg creamier, and mineral water makes it airy (alternatively, other dairy products can be used)
  • Beat well outside the pan (using a whisk or a fork)
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Fry in butter or margarine, not oil
  • Bring the eggs to a boil over low heat, stirring (a few minutes is enough because the eggs should remain juicy and not dry out)
  • It is best to always prepare fresh
